I specialize in working with couples using Emotionally Focused Therapy (EFT), the most well-researched approach to couples counseling available today. EFT helps partners understand the deeper emotional patterns driving their conflict and learn to reach for each other instead of pulling away.​
I bring both clinical training and a faith-informed perspective to my work. For couples whose marriage is rooted in faith, I understand that world, and I know how to work within it without leaving your values at the door.

Before counseling, I spent most of my career as a business owner and executive leader. I understand the particular pressures that professional life puts on a marriage, and I know how to speak that language.

I'm also a husband and a dad. My wife and I have been married since 2003, and we're raising four kids together. I know firsthand that long-term relationships take real work, and that the rewards of doing that work are absolutely worth it. That lived experience shapes how I show up for the couples I work with.

I hold a Master of Divinity (M.Div.) and a Master's degree in Counseling from Columbia International University, and have completed all training requirements for Emotionally Focused Therapy (EFT). I will be licensed as an LPC-A in South Carolina in June 2026, practicing under clinical supervision. I accept private pay clients.
